"A fairly new big condo unit in a rancher building with three other smaller units. Would be great for a larger group. Clean and good kitchen. While it has a fireplace the rules for using it are so extreme don't count on that being part of the experience. We didn't get the code for the door before arriving despite communication that we would, so we had to reach out to the property manager by phone to receive that. "

"Lake Tekapo is a very small town drawing tourists to the beautiful lake. The Godley Hotel is a wonderful spot to rest, get a meal, enjoy a drink, and visit the other restaurants and shops. Their restaurant is open early and later than many others nearby. But note their laundry facility is not available later in the evening. Arrive in Lake Tekapo in the early afternoon to take advantage of all it and this hotel have to offer."
