Recently renovated and pleasant place to stay in Tekapo. Staff were most helpful with advice on the surrounding area. Very comfortable room.

This is my second stay here and have always had a great experience. The hotel itself is a budget friendly accommodation, with basic facilities. The rooms are clean and well provided for, however are definitely a 2 or 3 star experience. We did not use the pools on site but opted for the nearby hot pools experience. The location is perfect for visiting the little town center, Church of the Good Shepard, Dark Sky Diner and observatory, the lake, and all key locations in Lake Tekapo.

It’s too expensive for what the room provides. There’s ample space to fit in a toaster and a microwave. Tiny tubes of shampoo and conditioner? Seriously try to consider person with long and with second person sharing the room.
