"Visited hotel for our anniversary and had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect and near by all amenities. The reception staff at check in and the concierge made us feel very welcome with a lovely glass of Prosecco and a tour of the hotel. "Ideal picturesque setting looking over lake windermere. Food excellent both nights and excellent value. Good choice of wine. Walking around area and saw 2 deer, lots of baby rabbits. friendly helpful staff. Lovely building. pool jacuzzi perfect. "

"We had an exceptional experience at Storrs Hall. The buildings and surrounding area were beautiful as was the room we were given. Set right on the lake it was such a great location. "It’s hard to comment properly as we arrived late in the dark but even still the staff on the desk were so friendly greeting us, and super helpful and understanding when I realised I’d made a mistake with the booking. It’s lovely and quiet despite being so close to the motorway. Immediately put at ease and reassured that it’s a great place to stay, even if as it is for us just an overnight stopover mid journey. "

"I loved the Rothay Garden. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Excellent food for breakfast and dinner plus lunch from the bar.
