"Ravenstone Manor is perfect for this kind of holiday. It's the best place we've stayed. The house is amazing, the staff are brilliant, and the food was some of the best we've ever eaten. The location is also perfect, with different kinds of walks clearly highlighted by the staff and the car park safe and away from the road. We also really appreciated how dog-friendly it is, and how thorough they've catered for people travelling with pets."

"This was the most incredible stay I could have asked for! The breakfast was lovely, the home felt very cozy, and she had the fire lit every evening for a warm and welcoming sitting area. The only thing I would say is, as a Uni student with no car, plan with bus routes! They only come around every hour, and the BnB is a bit remote. A lovely view of the lake, the gardens, the chickens, and the neighbors sheep! I will absolutely come here again :) "

"We were upgraded to a beautiful, clean and spacious room overlooking the front of the Hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - our bags were even taken up to our room for us. Buffet cooked breakfast is delicious and plentiful and the 3 course evening dinner is a nightly treat! The Hotel is ideally situated for walking in the National Park and close to shops, and local transport. All-in-all highly recommended!"

"Great value for money. Friendly staff during check in, clean good sized room (we stayed in a small double atic window) tvs had smart tv features like netflix. The bed was very comfy and good toiletries in the en suite. Fantastic location, right on the main street of Cockermouth and free parking at the hotel. Lovely quiet stay. Would definitely stay agon."
