"A hidden gem with a cool vibe and esthetic, made it comfortable for every guest. The breakfast was a daily treat for the eyes and palate, and the gracious staff made it a most pleasant way to start the day. The Nogha was fresh and modern while retaining and embracing the graces of times past, giving it a truly unique balance of old and new that was quite comforting."

"This is a great place to stay in the heart of Kyoto. Just next to Nishiki market and lots of shopping. Rooms are small as would be expected. The beds are double beds (not queen) and the room isn't much bigger than the bed. No way to get more than two people in a room. But I got two rooms for 3 people so it was fine. It was still an exceptional value. It's not a business traveler's hotel -- no space to work in your room. But for a tourist on my own dime it was perfect. I would definitely stay again."
