"Our room was immaculate and the staff very helpful and professional. Within walking distance of the hotel is the Kyoto train station to the north and a shopping mall with a grocery store to the west. We enjoyed our stay very much!"

"The staff was wonderful. At first i was hesitant for an upgraded room by front desk but took it and the view was stunning and did not disappoint of the Eastern part of town as well the Kamo River. The subway station is directly under the hotel so if you need to catch a subway train or need to get off at a station near you, it will be conveniently under your hotel which also doubles as a shopping mall and connects to the shops underground in the subway station. "Excellent location by Kyoto station. Fab lobby area with plenty of nooks to relax, fix a hot drink at the coffee and tea bar or head to the south building lobby to enjoy the massage chairs. Great breakfast with a lot of options. Lovely staff. Loved the happy hour drink. Room basic and lacked character but nice to have a balcony. "

"This hotel was excellent, as advertised and great value for money. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful; the property was very clean, and the breakfast was excellent value and delicious. The ladies bath was very peaceful and very clean. The hotel was an easy walk to Kyoto Station and a popular bus stop and subway stop were 2 minutes walk. I would highly recommend this property."

"Good location, modern interior. Lovely chandeliers in dining room! Reception area though is too dark it felt almost as if we were entering the Adams family front hall! Rooms are small but in keeping with Japanese hotels. Nice colour scheme almost regal. Beds are solid and good for sleeping. Pyjamas are provided!!! Which I love about Japanese hotels. Our room faced the street and was directly opposite the cleaners room ( which was opened and visible each time we left our room! Not a good idea...

"The hotel is very well located across the street from Kyoto station (main train station in Kyoto). Most sites of interest are easy/fast to get to from Kyoto station. Rooms are small (not a surprise). The hotel is worth the cost. I would definitely stay again at this hotel."
