Great staff; near beach and affordable

Great staff; simple breakfast (but the woman made it early for me -- very nice, polite and accommodating staff.. ). Good location - short walk to the beach. Depending on my needs, I will gladly stay again as it is very affordable.

You get what you pay for and this suited us fine for a short stay in Kuta. Clean rooms with a bed and shower. Good airconditioning. Breakfast is eggs, toast and fruit. Staff were lovely. Pool was very nice. Close to everything in Kuta. No complaints at all at this price point.

It was very quiet there and although it was obvious the place had seen better days, the room was clean and the staff very nice. The lack of a restaurant and pool bar was a big disappointment, but there were of course lots of restaurants near by.

Would highly recommend if staying in Kuta. Walking distance to everything but secluded enough to not be kept up at night. Don’t expect luxury but more like an authentic Bali experience with cosy bungalows, surrounded by greenery and a nice pool to cool off. The staff are friendly and always greet you with a smile. Excellent value for money!

Really great place to stay.

Comfortable bungalow. Clean and tidy. Love the surroundings, although it could be a bit noisy at night. Price you pay for staying close to Kuta Beach. The pool was fantastic! Bungalow only had a ceiling fan, which just pushed the hot air around, so quite stifling. Staff are very friendly, breakfast delicious and close to Kuta, good eateries and the beach.

A good place for a low-key reclusion, as it was in my case. I look forward to my return in the next few months. No luxury amenities, but very good energy of the field. Also quiet, which is nice. It could use a little variety with the Breakfast menu, but overall a nice place, that I do miss.

Everything in Bali seemed dirty, the walls the floor all blackened. maybe it's a climatic condition. But at least the room was clean and I appreciated that. A better shower would have been good. Even a shower curtain would be nice.

Really didn’t want to leave a review as I feel it’s a secret gem, it’s a beautiful old style complex the rooms are basic but beautiful, the pool is clean & perfect temp, for the price you couldn’t get much better. It’s a 8min stroll to main roads along the alley but shops to stop at on the way & I feel safe walking on my own. A local cafe is a 2min walk. Just missed having a kettle to make coffee when I wanted. Highly recommended

This was my second stay at Fuji Bungalows this year. It is tucked away from the busy lanes of Kuta. The only real noise is the early morning chanting from the local temple. Set on expansive grounds these series of bungalows are basic but well maintained. They are set far enough apart that you seem to be holidaying alone. The pool is immaculate and is cleaned each morning. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included - eggs, fruit, toast and coffee. Its only a short walk to restaurants, massage, circle K, Aussie bars and laundry services.

Suji Bungalow for the modest traveller

Very basic hotel. Very clean but old. Only one power outlet. Totally inadequate with modern phone and device charging necessities. Wifi adequate. Staff all extremely helpful and pleasant. Bathroom has a shower/bath. No good for the elderly or anyone with any mobility or infirmity issues. Breakfast is literally, coffee, toast and an egg. Very convenient to local shops,cafes and not too far from the beach. Maybe 1km. Or so.

Very old property, in need of serious renovations.the bungalow has AC only upstairs,so if you are sleeping on the main floor there is only a fan.bring your own toiletries wherever you are staying, as some places don't provide the basics,( soap, shampoo). This place had soap.the breakfast was good and the pool was clean.As with everything in Bali, there is a hidden fee for everything. if you want to play pool at the pool table in the lobby, you have to pay. If you want fruits for breakfast, you have to pay extra.
