Hotel under renovation when I visited. Staff was great but room wasn’t the best. Dank smell in bathroom. Location was ok, but Kuta beach was full of so much garbage that you wouldn’t want to go in the water. Not a great experience to see in Bali on your first visit there.

There is nothing the staff won’t accommodate, everyone is very helpful. The facility are neat and tidy with all areas of your holiday accounted for. The facility is close to all things Bali, restaurants, beach, bars and shopping. Throughly enjoyed my time here.

This was my second time staying at Alamkulkul in the last 6 months. Dayu and the other staff not only welcomed me but remembered the last time I stayed. It is a wonderfully quaint hotel that is located across the street from the beach and walking distance to everything you need. I can’t recommend the hotel enough!!! Thankyou Dayu and all the staff at Alamkulkul.

The pictures does not match the reality at all. It is so run down. Room was awful. we had mouldy shower-curtains, the whole barhroom smelled like mould, the thing that holds the showerhose was broken,the towels smelled mouldy aswell. the wall behind nightstand looked like it had moisture damage, The walls was all patched up, some of the outlets in the room did not work, wifi-signal was really bad. Overall so depressing, looked like a prison in the hallways. Breakfast below average. We would have changed hotel if we were planned to stay more than 1 night. Atleast the staff was friendly, only good feedback that can be given.

Nice Resort but Poor Communucations

A nice resort, with good location, comfortable rooms and nice breakfast. However, I sent 8 messages to the hotel (advising them that my flight was cancelled and I would arrive a day late, and asking them to hold my room open and not write me off as a no show), which were all ignored. Also, check-in and check-out was unnecessarily long and tedious.
