"The lodge was absolutely wonderful. We honestly had not slept as well as we did at the lodge anywhere else in Japan. Not sure if it was the mountain air, the onsen, or the large rooms that allowed us to settle in and spread out. The hospitality was incredible; the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home, including by providing a bountiful breakfast each morning. My husband and I wish we could have stayed there our entire trip!"

"The property was a bit tired, carpet stained, but the room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The communal bath on the first floor was an unexpected treat. "the service was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to try and accommodate English speakers. A very small Japanese continental breakfast was included for free which was nice.
