You can walk to hub communities, pick up a bike from the hotel and ride the park, and pick up the #2 Tram to the canals easily from the hotel."

They put us on a floor that was undergoing renovations (our hallway was covered in painting tape and had unfinished light fixtures), and our room had non-functional ventilation and sparse seemingly unfinished decoration. Our room also had no view (despite advertising a city view) and the bathroom was smaller than advertised. We raised all of this after one night, and mid-way through our stay...

"This property is in a great location next to the van Gogh Museum, and walkable to many parts of Amsterdam Staff is phenomenal and the breakfast outstanding We booked a small room and it was small, but we knew that at the time. Most of the other rooms looked to be very good sized. There is an elevator, although some stairs have to be navigated to get up into the hotel. Overall, this is an outstanding property made even more so by the staff"

"The look of the hotel itself was very nice. The aethestics and decor looked evelvated but the reception area was a bit weird to me. The reception are is just a large kitchen table area where two people sit there looking like two friends having a conversation. I was confused when I walked in. The amenities of free drinks and alcohol as well as free breakfast every morning was the best perk but outside of that I did not enjoy my experience at the hotel. I feel like I was catfished by the pictures...

"Very well located- 5 minute walk to tram,1 minute walk to grocery,15 minute walk radius to a good assortment of international restaurants, FoodHallen, Vondelpark, Museumplein, Leidseplein. This is a family owned and loved older hotel, not a modern resort. (Adjust your expectations.) Americans be warned they don't use shower curtains. (We aren't used to this practice.) We left our shower mat and slippers outside the bathroom door so they would not get wet. Always had plenty of hot water. The room...

I walked everywhere in under 30 for longest attraction. And everyday able to quickly pop back to hotel at nap and refresh. The staff were so great! And courtyard was so relaxing.
