"We had a really nice stay at the Holiday Inn situated at Jing’an. The room was v generously sized and there was a little couch or sitting area. The hotel very kindly prepared a birthday cake and gifted a bottle of wine for my mum’s birthday. The laundry facilities were also excellent and super convenient. The location of the hotel was ideal for us as we were travelling to/from Shanghai train station and the station was in easy walking distance (even with luggage)! The one improvement that the hotel could work on is better training for the front desk staff - All other staff was super kind and helpful (including the security guards) but the front desk staff were quite dismissive when we were checking in or when we had questions on directions etc. "

"We were very pleased to be upgraded to stay at Jinglai Hotel on Jingling Road due to building works across the road at Jinglai Bushe making our room too noisy. Great room, the view of the Bund was fantastic, and the service was very friendly. Would highly recommend Jinglai Hotel, Jingling Road"

The location is excellent so fair warning, prepare your wallet since there are a lot of shops and restaurants around the area. I also recommend availing of the breakfast. It's really good with a variety of food options. "
