"This is a solid hotel if you’ve been to Mexico before and know what to expect. My goal here is to give real, practical info. The location is hard to beat—less than a five-minute walk from the ferry. We arrived about two hours early with no expectation of early check-in, but Airan got us into our room at no extra charge. Great start. We booked a king bay view room through Expedia. The lobby is clean and airy, with a small pool behind the front desk—cool (not warm), but perfect after a hot day....

"Staff overcharged us after they "lost" our Expedia booking. Staff repeatedly attempted to charge us for extra money, claiming they forgot to add certain fees. We walked into our room to find a strange man going through our luggage. Breakfast is not included regardless of what Expedia may say. "

"This is a basic hotel. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the staff is nice. The pool is small with only four lounge chairs. You will need to walk to get to the beach - this hotel has a dock only. "

Sheets were filthy Bathroom was covered in mold Walls were paper thin and one could hear everything going on in other rooms and I am not a light sleeper. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular-but this did not even meet basic 1star experience. "

"We have found our home on Isla Mujeres. We have been traveling to this island for 25 years. We've stayed at many different places - but the search is over. I am afraid to say this - because there are less than 15 rooms - I want it to stay my little secret BUT I have to say what a fantastic stay we had. Right from the initial contact with Alexander Castellanos, who manages the property, everything went smooth as silk. We stayed in room 11 which was right beside the wonderful pool. We had 2 Queen...

"Staff at the property were lovely! You sort of get what you pay for, it’s nice they’ve made the effort to modernise the property but you can tell it’s still a little worn. But as mentioned you get what you pay for. One down side was the water ran really low on our last night, only to wake up the following morning with the toilet not flushing and no water coming out of any taps. I had to use a water bottle to get water out of the pool so the toilet would flush. "

"Es una muy buena opción considerando que es un hostal, no se espera lujo pero si limpieza y lo cumplen así como el trato amable por parte del staff, un punto a mejorar sería la presión del agua, el wc tardaba en llenarse, pero en general me gusto, si volvería a hospedarme. La ubicación es excelente a unas cuadras de playa norte, cerca del mercado con opciones para desayunar y cenar tacos, hotdogs, marquesitas, etc"

"While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again."
