"Great location for getting to sought-after sites. Basically, midway between the Vatican and Colosseum (20 mins to each). As the hotel is a block away from a taxi stand, the staff can get you in a cab in 5 mins. "Beautiful hotel, however construction nearby going on and it’s dark walking to restaurants nearby felt a little unsafe. Also there is a nightclub nearby they kept me up until 1am every night make sure you don’t get a room facing street. Very expensive too but we couldn’t find much with a one bedroom so our adult daughter and us could have some privacy. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Major. The hotel was close and walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do in Rome. The room was fantastic, had a breathtaking view of St. Mary Basilica and the staff were beyond excellent. Luigi in the front helped with our check in and check out and getting our transportation scheduled to the airport on departure day. Would 10/10 recommend this property. Every day we came back, our room was cleaned and refreshed. "

"Loved this place. Only complaint is that there was no water on our final morning. No water in shower, no water in sink faucets, couldn’t even flush the toilet. Other than that, everything was top notch, including the breakfast!"
