Room facilities were ok, had a few challenges with the room which was disappointing for us taking into account we booked the a Crowne Plaza hotel and was first visit to Rome especially for kids. Food was ok, not a lot of options available, had Half board but was forced to pay for water for dinner, which was very strange. Breakfast buffet options were ok. Staff were a mix, some extremely helpful while others weren't. Overall not the best experience,

My stay at Crowne Plaza Rome – St. Peter’s (Via Aurelia Antica) was excellent from start to finish. I stayed in a Premium Room, and the benefits truly made a difference — the spa access and minibar were great added values and enhanced the overall experience. The breakfast was very complete, with a wide variety of options and great quality. The hotel is in excellent condition, very clean, and extremely well maintained. Housekeeping deserves special recognition for their outstanding work. One of the highlights is definitely the location: surrounded by green areas, trees, and total tranquility, yet only about 20 minutes by bus from St. Peter’s Square and the Vatican. It’s the perfect balance between relaxation and easy access to Rome’s main attractions. The reception staff was professional, attentive, and kind at all times. A special mention goes to Luca and Antonio from the Aurea Restaurant, as well as Carolina, who made every meal feel warm and familiar, almost like dining with family. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Arrived early, and reception got us into the room as soon as they could. Lovely room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Great location outside the city, particularly if you are driving. They have a regular minibus to/from Rome for EUR5 per person. The breakfast was vast with so much choice. Would definitely stay again.

I would say that overall the hotel was fine. The hotel is a little outdated. It’s about 20 mins from the city but there were plenty of transportation options. The restaurant in the hotel was really good. The staff treated me good. Check in and check out was pretty seamless.

Nice hotel but not close to city

The hotel is comfortable and in a secure location. Our specific room was nice but carpet needed cleaning. Breakfast each morning was very nice but not included in the room cost. Not close to Rome city so you need to taxi to anything your wanting to do.

Great hotel!

Great hotel, great staff, I went for a premium room and they restocked the mini bar every day without fail. Reception staff so helpful, hotel has its own shuttle but and taxi service both at a charge. Pool is great when its sweltering! Location is peaceful but be prepared to use a lot of taxi's for going into Rome or the shuttle bus.
