We recently stayed at the Hilton Waterfront, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to our expectations. To start, the room itself was just average in terms of cleanliness. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected better attention to detail. Noise was also a consistent issue throughout our stay, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The biggest issue, however, happened one night around 5 AM when a fire alarm went off. We had to evacuate the building with our young kids in tow, only to find out later that it was a false alarm. There was very little communication or explanation from the staff afterward, which added to our frustration. It was a rough and unnecessary ordeal that really impacted our stay.
We also weren’t impressed with the valet service—not because of the staff, but the price. It felt excessive for a single overnight stay. On a positive note, we did enjoy the food at Cabo Wabo near the pool area. The atmosphere was nice, and the meals were good. All in all, while the location is great, the experience didn’t justify the cost. I’m not sure we’d return based on this stay.
