"This is a Premium high $$$ stay, you will feel very fancy here.
The private Onsen is the best I have ever had the pleasure of using (it is 1000% worth the surcharge)
The only issues I had with my stay were some inconsistencies with the online posting and the english room instructions they appeared a little out of date (for example they both listed a dinner that was not available for our stay)"

"We stayed here for 2 nights and it was genuinely such an amazing experience, we’re so glad we found this place on our Japan trip. It’s very quiet with not a lot of guests so it’s really tranquil… the food was stupendous and really fresh- the restaurant is a small 8 counter seater and the chef prepares dishes in front of you. The onsen was wonderful and all of the staff were lovely and very welcoming. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here for a relaxing and unique experience! "

"The hotel is perfect, we loved it!!! The only thing we didn’t like was the breakfast that was very weird and the fact that there was nothing to eat around the hotel, only very bad and expensive restaurants "

"Good hotel near Gora - you can take shuttle or walk 15” up some steep sets of stairs if you are up for some exercise; most common areas look newly updated in last several years; nice private Onsrn on room balcony was used a lot!"
"The room was clean and the staff were hospitable. The private and public onsen were nice. If you have a tattoo, they provide you with the cover up sticker so let them know"
"It was ridiculously easy to check in! All we really needed was our passports, which we keep on our person at all times. The courteous nature of the staff REALLY stood out. This hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed at in Japan or in the U.S. I would have paid doubled for a hotel this nice in the U.S. "
"This place is excellent! Has everything and anything you wanted. The room is spacious and has your own onsen and steam room! The hotel is new so everything is spotless! The welcoming drinks and snacks are a nice touch! The only down side is the check in process could be easier!"
"A beautiful stay and wonderful onsen- we opted for a private onsen thankfully as we were never able to get into one of the three private public onsens on site over the course of two days.
Note that the area is stunning and very hilly- local restaurants etc close very early and/or have odd days they are open if you venture out. "
"We had a great time staying here while exploring Hakone. This place is located close to bus routes that took us to and back from Gora, while being in a quiet street perfect for relaxing at night.
The two attendants at the main counter were extremely helpful and nice, and tried their best to accommodate to our requests."
