"Hotel customer service was horrible. Booked a 4 day 3 night trip and paid for a King bed. At time of check-in, they told me they oversold the rooms and i was stuck with a double fullsize. Keep in mind, I booked well over a month in advance. The hotel said all they could do is waive my valet. I asked if i could switch rooms the next day as people are still going to be checking out and checking in. They said no. "Too cold for the pool, so wish there was a hot tub, but thats okay. No place other then a small 2 ft area for pets. We called down for towels twice and still did not get them. We had to find a housekeeper that afternoon to get some which wasnt a big deal. Everything was excellent. "

"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"We loved the location, hotel, and the staff. The elevator had some issues, as did the coffee maker for some other folks. The service elevator was made available, and the other issue was also promptly addressed. Very clean, staff was super friendly, and we felt very safe, even being so close to Bourbon street."

"We were very pleased with this property. The room was spacious and clean. We LOVED the bathroom. Two sinks, bathtub and shower with separate toilet room. We reserved a king room with sofa, but we wound up with a little booth and one chair. Would have rather had the sofa. They were very busy. "

"Nice hotel. The doorman was the friendliest and always willing to give advice. Cleaning crew never vacuumed the carpet in the room and one day must have forgotten us because nothing was done and wet towels were still on the bathroom floor but front desk sent fresh towels. Elevators were confusing. Took one elevator to check in and then took a different elevator to get to room. Nice location as close to shops, streetcar, and casino"

"I had a very good stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Convention Center and would definitely consider staying again. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout, and the location is ideal, just steps from the convention center and easy to get around the area.
