"Property is pretty new and is a peaceful location, Only 10 min walk from busy areas and 5 min from Sanjo station. Rooms are pretty small but clean and in good condition. Common areas are well maintained Staff are very polite, many of which are not Japanese. Everyone is eager to please. Many many Manga Books available to borrow!"

"Lovely hotel in a quieter part of Kyoto but very close to amenities and to various attractions including Heian Jingu Shrine, Yasaka Shrine. Also in walking distance to Gion. Reception staff are friendly, the room and bathroom are a good size and are clean/well-maintained They have a laundry room which is really helpful The hotel is also 2 minutes from the Higashiyama metro station and about 10 minutes from Sanjo station so also conveniently placed for any day trips Would definitely recommend...
