"Would first of all like to say what an obliging host Jeremy was. Communication was quick and helpful. Check in information was good, especially as it was very short notice. "The e-mail for check in had not been received on the Hotels.com chat by 2pm, so i messaged and it did come through asap then. On arrival it was easy to find the key box and gain entrance. The stairs in hallway were a bit rough and the carpet is a bit loose and dirty/worn in patches. The door to our room was not very secure and a firm push would open the door without need for a key. "Absolutely fantastic 3 night stay at Cavendish House! Good things: Clean; had a well equipped kitchen ( the milk, orange juice and bottle of wine in the fridge was a lovely surprise!); communication with Chris was excellent; secure onsite parking was a big bonus; location is great - walking distance to Waitrose and all the shops/restaurants/castle/train station Bad things: NOTHING!
