"Hands down the best place I’ve stayed in Tahoe for the price. The lodge has such a cozy, welcoming vibe the second you walk in. "We continue to come back to the Timber Lodge because the facility and location are outstanding as well as all the staff that works here. Not much to complain about because it is clean, comfortable and well equipped both inside and outside the room. Couldn't ask for a more enjoyable experience in South Shore. Oh, and the restaurants are great also and easy walking distance. "

"Loved this hotel and the staff were the most pleasant and helpful staff I’ve come across. The buffet breakfast (not included) was delicious! Resort is beautiful! Pool and hot tub are indoors which is so nice in Tahoe where it’s cold more than it’s hot. Room was great. Live music in lobby in the evenings (nothing loud and obnioux). Will definitely stay here again (and possibly only here)."

"Nicely decorated unit, clean and inviting; the host stayed close communication with us throughout our stay; our questions and requests were all promptly answered and attended to. Amenities are functioning properly except the range hood, perhaps consider a replacement as it is very noisy and not really functioning well. We enjoyed our stay here and will book again when we are back in the area again."
