"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "Very old and dated. Staff first night very helpful and friendly unfortunately not for rest of stay. Was emailed about upgrade which I wanted as it was for my wedding . Email Said that the f available you could do when checked in. When I checked in I asked about upgrade I was told it had been done automatically because it was my wedding . When got to my room. It was the room that I had paid for. Breakfast was very tasty . Highly light of stay . Second morning there was a dirty folk left on the floor by were I sat. Such a shame as there is a lot of potential here. The grounds are lovely . Need to be completely updated as some areas have been like new chairs next to ones that have just had bad fitted covers put on."
