The towel rail did not work and was grubby. There was no bath mat and minimum towels for our needs. Toilet tissue ran out on our second Day. AM. The staff made up for it in spades very friendly and approachable

You get what you expect for the price you pay. Staff were friendly enough. Bed was comfortable. Room was generally clean, albeit very tired looking. Strong smell of cigarettes in the room was the main downer, although a reasonable effort was made to get rid of it. Lights worked. TV worked. Coffee, tea and biscuits available. No sockets by the bed - a sign of how old the hotel is.

Perfectly adequate place to get some rest. No frills but clean and comfortable, and (for the area, which is generally overpriced) decent value. Location is pretty horrid, but super convenient for travellers on the M20. I arrived after midnight and had to conduct check-in through a security grille.

Cheap and cheerful

Typical motorway hotel. Room was comfortable, bathroom was clean. The only issue was my room was by the road where the trucks park and all night I could hear engines running, trucks starting and people shouting (from outside).
