"The property was very clean and conveniently attached to a restaurant/bar. The staff were AMAZING! The young lady at the reception desk was full of smiles and let us borrow a uk plug for our chargers! We only brought America plugs! Also, Sara Jean in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful! She made me feel very welcome and gave us some good advice for what to do in York! It was such a great experience! I recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot out in the country! "

"The Fingal Hotel in Edinburgh Scotland was an excellent choice from the time my husband and I walked in. The Fingal Crew was amazing! We had a stunning breakfast and had dinner twice in the upscale restaurant in which they only use the finest ingredients. The Fingal crew was excellent in every aspect! I recommend this experience to anyone wanting something different. We will use this same floating hotel if visiting Edinburgh Scotland again!"

"エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。"

"Prestonfield House is like an oasis in central Edinburgh. It is a beautifully maintained period house with nice grounds. The staff were excellent. I had a party of Thai friends for dinner and they loved both the atmosphere and the dinner itself. "

"What a beautiful property with a gorgeous room! We also enjoyed the extra rooms: library, music, etc. They were decorated very nice; we felt like we were staying in a castle! The staff were helpful and professional. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. A perfect place to stay about 10 minutes drive from a park and ride into Edinburgh."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were all excellent. The ocean mist has been restored to a high standard. Rooms were comfortable and spotless clean. Surprised at how spacious the room was given it's in a boat. Lots of lovely personal touches. My husband was worried about motion sickness but was not a problem at all. "Located a short walk from the Tram and opposite the croft. From the gates to the room, every part of this property is beautifully and thoughtfully designed and finishes well executed. The style and quality of finishes was excellent and as good as any 5 star hotel locally. I'd definitely recommend, especially for a romantic weekend away"

"24 Royal Terrace is a gorgeous, unique hotel with an extensive art collection. It is a small boutique lodging with a family atmosphere, and the staff is always ready to help. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. When we were leaving, it was like parting with family."

"Great experience and welcoming & helpful staff. Very enjoyable breakfast. Inside courtyard is peaceful retreat from city. Quirky architecture means that it does not feel like an identikit chain hotel This is an ideal place to visit the Old Town and a place to stay for University of Edinburgh graduation ceremonies being close to McEwan Hall. Note that no parking on site, though a q park is 5-10 mins walk."
