"The property was very clean and conveniently attached to a restaurant/bar. The staff were AMAZING! The young lady at the reception desk was full of smiles and let us borrow a uk plug for our chargers! We only brought America plugs! Also, Sara Jean in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful! She made me feel very welcome and gave us some good advice for what to do in York! It was such a great experience! I recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot out in the country! "

"What a beautiful property with a gorgeous room! We also enjoyed the extra rooms: library, music, etc. They were decorated very nice; we felt like we were staying in a castle! The staff were helpful and professional. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. A perfect place to stay about 10 minutes drive from a park and ride into Edinburgh."

"エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。"

"Prestonfield House is like an oasis in central Edinburgh. It is a beautifully maintained period house with nice grounds. The staff were excellent. I had a party of Thai friends for dinner and they loved both the atmosphere and the dinner itself. "

"We were so impressed with everything at The Scott Hotel. It is on the University property but far exceeded our expectations! Beautiful rooms, great service from breakfast to dinner to specialty drinks in the old fashioned lounge in the evening. The bed was so comfortable and the 24 hour coffee/tea lounge was fantastic! It is within walking distance to downtown Edinburgh but far enough out that you don't have the city noise! "

"Absolutely delightful. Check-in was smooth. We arrived earlier than the check-in time at 11am and got into our room by 1.30pm which was much appreciated. Due to the redeye flight, we were so tired that the staff prioritized getting our room ready. The property is conveniently located, not far from the downtown core we wanted to visit. It’s nestled in a quite neighborhood and our garden suite was lovely and peaceful at night."

"A very clean and comfortable hotel with helpful staff. About 20 minutes’ walk from the centre. Buses are available but I didn’t feel the need to use them. Secure cycle parking . Handy for Holyrood Park and Arthur’s Seat."
