"Really loved my stay. The staff were wonderful and provided excellent hospitality. We meant a lot of people from around the world. We loved the nature. I tried kayaking and the outdoor hot tub. My only tip is to make sure you are covered up as there are a lot of sandflies and wear insect repellent. Overall loved our stay and very memorable"

"We stayed for two nights using this as a starting point for Milford Sound. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was exceptionally clean and rooms were large with lots of space. Well located on the lake within easy walking distance of town. Convenient parking onsite near your room. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend."

"The king suite was spacious, comfortable, and dark/quiet at night. Super clean. Fridge and water kettle with extra counter and sink made basic food prep easy. Good Wifi and smart TV. Easy to walk to town and Milford Sound day cruise departures. Great tourist advice. Parking fine. Do understand that our spacious room is not the same for all. "Beautiful property! Great location 5 minute walk to town centre, restaurants and shopping. Laura & Derek were very welcoming and serve an EXCELLENT cooked breakfast! There recommendations were perfect for us. Clean well appointed room. Hot tub was a nice touch and the Garden very nice. Highly recommended."

"Generally ok place to stay. Has everything you need like all other hotels. Unfortunately the 1 bed apartment are not sound proof. So we had a poor nights sleep with hearing the people above us walking around and playing music until midnight and then car doors closing at 7am. The rooms don’t feel very private either with big glass doors in the bedroom and lounge so you have people walking past and looking in. Also worth noting, no air con "

"The room and main building are a bit dated. However everything worked and the bed and shower were both very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had an excellent view of the lake and the staff were very helpful. The food was good but the wine selection wasn’t that good"
