"We had a very good stay in a comfortable room and bed. We really liked the afternoon tea and drinks in the library upstairs as it brought guests together and made for a very pleasant evening. We were in the Bishops Retreat and thoroughly enjoyed the dressing up. A fun stay. Thank you "

"The room we had had 4 single beds. It was kind of tight for 4 adults but it worked. They were clean and comfortable. We had a kitchenette which was handy. The communal bathrooms, kitchen, and sitting area were nice, clean, and comfortable. The laundry area was nice with fairly new washers and dryers. The washers included washing soap and so we didn’t need to buy any washing soap. The lake was just across the road and it was an easy walk into town. The only downer about the place was that we...

"Ett mycket trevligt motell centralt i Te Anau. Fräscha lägenheter med ett välutrustat kök och balkong eller liten uteplats. Parkering utanför lägenheternas baksida. Städning varje dag och en gemensam tvättstuga. Kostnaden var rimlig, 3 dollar för tvätt och 2 dollar för torkning. Vi trivdes alldeles utmärkt och rekommenderar motellet varmt."

"The staff were all very polite from checkin to checkout. The accommodation was clean with great facilities and parking outside your unit. A 200m walk to the water front and 10-15 min walk to all the bars and restaurants makes for a peaceful and fantastic vacation - well done ti the whole team"

"Very nice room- bed was very comfortable, quiet and clean. There were places for your luggage and toiletries. Really appreciate the night light in the bathroom - blue under counter lights ; and the assortment of hot drink choices with the kettle. Wonderful towels and water pressure. Only one rack for towels in the shower - I’d really like a little hook for towels near the sink. Also balconies are very close to neighbors. But love the comfy chairs in the room. Great sleep."

"The place was not very clean. There was a stain on the double bedsheet. The kitchen utensils, pots, plates, bowls, cups and glasses were not properly cleaned. The laundry room was quite dirty. The living room sofa looked worn off. The nicest place of this motel room was the bathroom. The motel office was closed most of the time and hence, we were not able to let them know our concerns. "
