"Awful. This place is at the back of some kind of children's zoo activity and motoring place. I checked in late. I tried to call them using the property number given but it is the wrong number!! I messaged to say I was going to be late. They said ok. When I told them their number doesn't work they seemed unbothered. When I arrived at 7pm to my shock they said the room is not ready! "A charming Gastropub hotel on the edge of Epping Forest conveniently located near Chingford overground station with direct links to Liverpool St. The hotel is a tudor style timber and white plaster building with stained glass windows amongst many other old world embellishments. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the restaurant a treat with exceedingly helpful and pleasant staff."

"We asked hotel to confirm we could have a parking space, they confirmed by email but neglected to mention it would cost £15. Check on was great, friendly person and helpful. "Location was good for my purpose. Shower had mould around the edge. Not paticularly clean. Bed wasn't comfortable. Pillows where thin. Late check in staff was grumpy. Room was super hot on a not paticularly warm day. Infact it had been raining. I had to take 2 lifts and a reasonable walk to get to my room."

"Cheap room but conveniently located near Ilford Station. Codes needed for access to main door and hotel room. Rooms look dated and bare basics are there. It's in keeping with price, but if paying over £45-50, find a travelodge."

"The staff was so kind and helpful. For example, I’m American, so I didn’t understand why the switches weren’t working, so they explained the little card slot to me. They were also super kind and made me a pizza even though the kitchen was closed for dinner, since I got lost trying getting back in time.
