"Rooms were great. Got a free upgrade because we were the only ones there for the back half of our trip. Very quiet and peaceful. Not a ton of food options but everything was good. Staff was very nice and accommodating. They have bottled water and bagged ice available whenever you need it. Great for a quick romantic getaway. 40 min from the airport. The beach the house is on is gorgeous and has a great 20ish minute walk to the end where there are caves you can wade out to. It’s a great surfing...

"The staff was very nice. The rooms were also very nice. Most of the food was very good. There were a lot of options of where to hang out. They did a great job of cleaning the beach every morning. We stayed in a swim out room facing the pool and it was great. Only real complaint is the pools are not heated and were quite cold."

"Due to a flight cancellation, we had to find another hotel. Three couples, they arranged us to have a three bedroom suite with common area and to give us meals. It was only one day, but it absolutely serviced our needs.
Walk to the beach, kite surfers were entertaining. Dolphin Explorer is next door.
Food was buffet, but fairly fresh and hot. Bar drinks were excellent

"We spent a week at Barcelo Barbara Palace. The service was excellent. The staff were all very friendly. The food was excellent and there was a ride variety of all types of dishes for Young and Old that you could choose from. The resort is big but well organized so it doesn’t take much to get from one area to another. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a terrific getaway for families or groups of adults. "
