Pros: The staff was nice and courteous for the most part and the view was beautiful.
Cons: There were several issues at this particular resort first one being I booked 2 rooms which for whatever reason were not put side by side (which wasn’t the greatest issue just more of an inconvenience). Second, one of the rooms was not entirely clean upon arrival even though they allowed us to check in normal. There were tampons and other trash in the bathroom trashcan, stains on the furniture, floor and linens (in both rooms). When we called about these issue’s we got the run around an ultimately no actual solution. I was told we would get birthday banner, fruit, and complementary bottle of wine to each room from day one and it was not received until the last day after bringing it up several times throughout the stay. In one of the rooms we had to call room service just about every day to get our room cleaned, they gave us wash clothes (once upon request as there were not in there upon check in) and they never gave us any after that. We had a swim pool, but no towels for it, so we had to call for that several times and only got them when we asked house keeping that we seen in the hall for some. It just seems like our rooms weren’t tended to as much as they should’ve been. I’ve been to less expensive resorts and had better housekeeping and customer service when it came to issues. The room came with a jet tub, which upon attempt to use it was leaking all over the floor in the room.
