"On arrival at 3:30pm there was a telephone number to ring for check-in which worried us about what to expect. No one answered the phone number but then someone came to the door. He then phoned someone else who confirmed we were booked in. We were given our keys and instructions to enter the property ourselves. There was a restaurant set up but no one else around. "Accommodation was great, clean and newly refurbished with spacious room and good shared kitchen/laundry facilities. Shortage of forks/mugs however in kitchen. Good location near university with lots of nearby buses and train to centre. Accommodation could do better with recycling though and communal lights left on 24 hrs etc. HOWEVER I extended my stay and was NOT given the new door code so was forced to wait for more than 2 hours outside until the ‘emergency’ phone number picked up. "Great stay at the Foundry Masters House for a house hunting expedition. Hosts were so welcoming and gracious, even with an unexpected very late arrival. Fantastic cooked breakfast, very good meats from local area. Room was comfortable. Bed very supportive and lovely clean pressed sheets. Bathroom was spotless. Only very minor point was carpet was a little worn and stained. Overall, a really lovely experience and the most wonderful hosts. "

"You get what you pay but very run down property and amenities were not up to scratch. Really noisy building so if you are wanting a good night sleep then good luck. Check in was really easy and good but front door seems to be not closed properly by others so never felt fully safe during my stay. Again it does the job and you get what you pay for "
