"Bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. The long pillows and vigorous AC were much appreciated. Fixtures were all refreshingly old-fashioned (a tub with stationary shower head!) but in excellent condition. In-room coffee makers and free housekeeping are endangered species in NYC hotels, so I was delighted to find them here! If you miss the way hotels "used to be" you owe it to yourself to stay here! Location was also perfect, for either theaters or museums, and only...
"Great location with lots of restaurants within close walking distance. My wife was there by herself for business and felt safe walking every where. Easy to get to the subway and PATH trains. At times a courtyard room was a little loud with the restaurant and seatings. If that’s the case think about a city view room or have some ear plugs. That was only one or two of the 5 nights though. Highly recommend this hotel. "
"I love the Jane! Staff is always courteous and easy.
My only complaint is that each floor always has one shower door that won’t stay open after use. Those showers smell because they never air out. Mildew smell is awful compared to the shower where the door is always open. I made this suggestion before but I guess it fell on deaf ears. I’ve stayed on every floor…shows how often I return. ;))
