"A lovely hotel by the waterfront with an amazing view of yachts and the islands. All meals are in the buffet restaurant that provides a huge choice of local dishes and some international food. There is a tiny bar by the waterfront that serves simple food in the evenings. Excellent service staff and ambience. The hotel is just 15 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes to shopping malls, served by the hotel's free shuttle bus. Grab to the city is easy to get and inexpensive. Very convenient location. A hassle-free stay at this lovely hotel."
"We arrived just after midnight. The staff were very couteous and helpful.
There was a mix up with booking the free shuttle. I never received a confirmation or knew who to look for so ended up catching a taxi.
Instead we received a free shuttle back to the airport before lunch.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Bathroom was clean and adequate, good shower.
Breakfast was not included but we were able to have for mry38 each.
It is not a high end hotel, rather a servicable cheaper hotel. Exactly what we were looking for.
Breakfast was not included but we bought for MR38 per person.
There was a large choice of hot and cold malaysian food. Also tea and coffee from large urns. Toast, cereals, small cakes and slices.
There were alot of families who made use ofthe pool after breakfast.
We were the only 2 Australians visiting.
I would definitely recommend for a stop over. "
"We stayed in a Palm Villa and it was amazing. Loved everything about it, especially the breakfast delivered by boat. We spent a lot of time on our deck and in and out of the water. All staff were friendly and genuine. Food at all meals was great. Snorkeling around the property to look for giant clams was a highlight."
"Room was very huge. I think maybe 8 people can sleep in our room. The ocean view was amazing and the sunset was the best in my life. The elevators were very fast and the staffs are very kind."
"A wonderful resort for our honeymoon, and one we’d highly recommend particularly the plunge pool villa that overlooks and has private access to the beach. The jetty was a particular highlight — very well lit, and every night we would walk there looking at the marine life; it was like having our own private aquarium.
Some caveats. Don’t expect parties, activities and shows — this is a great resort to unwind and recharge, particularly if you love nature (exactly what we needed for the tail end of a mammoth 3 weeks). The jungle hikes and snorkelling trips are definitely worth doing; the snorkelling around the resort is good but you do have to swim out for the best coral. We considered private boats to KK but didn’t feel the need when you can party with monkeys, monitors, hornbills and wild boar at your doorstep.
There are only 2 restaurants on site which can feel a bit limiting, but the food is varied and excellent so we didn’t mind. The staff were warm and attentive throughout without ever being intrusive — a tough balance to strike. And the wine list from their amazing cellar is simply one of the best we’ve ever seen — serious depth in Australian wines alongside some genuine heavy hitters: First Growths, Grange, Sassicaia. Exceptional."
