"We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok."

"We were unable to drop our bags off or collect a parking ticket for the nearby car park until after the check-in time as there was no one was at the property. This meant that we had to pay for a few hours parking. Once we arrived, we were told that a parking ticket from the B&B would cost a further £5, unless we paid at the machine on the car park which would cost us another couple of pounds.
