"Excellent hotel. 50 steps from St Marks Square. Beautiful view of Gondola launch area from the room. Clean room. Modern amenities. A bit noisy from the gondola area in the morning. Ear plugs fixed that minor inconvenience. They have their own gondola launch door who appears to get priority service. The only complaint was that the shower would fluctuate from a comfortable temperature to very hot and then cold. Suspect a water pressure issue. They could benefit from pressure balancing faucets...

"The hotel was in a good location with easy access to central Venice. We had picked this stay for the spa facilities but this was undergoing maintenance and another guest had told us that the hotel charges extra for guests to use it (per hour) which was disappointing. The staff were polite and helped us check in quickly and did allow us to store our bags at the hotel on the last day after check out"

Overall a great hotel. We had some issues with our sink - the pipe kept coming undone and water would pour out and into the bathroom. Other than that, all good."

Breakfast was quite good but as a small hotel lacked some of the breadth of options that might be found in larger establishments. The extra charging for egg orders was a shame. "We arrived to the room simple enough after getting off the Aguilana. It was a short 8 minute walk. We were greeted by Enrico and he was pleasant. We were excorted by a porter who took our bags to the room. We stayed in the Annex, which is out the door to the left or to the right behind the main hotel and bakery. It was easy enough to find. You used your key card and entered. They have a small elevator to take you to your roo. The room is large enough for two people. We chose the double bed...

"This is great and beautiful place to stay. Room is clean, simple but really good and you have everything you need around, also easy access to the public transport. However you need to avoid the rooms which is close to the road. Beside the camp is highway and nearest rooms is feels so noisy inside , hard to handle. But we have changed the room in the middle and it was just perfect."
