"The room was a non smoking room yet it had a ashtray on the dresser (which was dirty with cigarette ash) the trouser press was loosely fitted to wall with one screw and u/s a number of the pictures affixed to the wall were UPSIDE-DOWN, and the room carpet was without a relationship with a vacuum cleaner. "Very poor hotel. I was staying a few miles away for half the price and the rooms were very modern, clean and comfortable. As I was working away with a colleague I booked 2 family rooms. The rooms are dated and not up to standard. I had no towels in my room and there was only 1 in the other FAMILY room I booked. "Clean and well appointed rooms. The staff was incredible, friendly, and wonderfully accommodating. The breakfast was top notch. We've stayed here twice and will certainly stay again when we are in the area."

"Greeted by a pile of dirty bedding and towels in the room, phoned to tell the owners who did nothing about it. Very very dated and not in a quaint way. Not clean at all. Fortunately it was only a one night stay before we flew out on holiday early the next morning. I would not recommend to anyone. Floorboards are ridiculously creaky, if anyone gets up in the night, everyone is woken up! "
