"The room was a non smoking room yet it had a ashtray on the dresser (which was dirty with cigarette ash) the trouser press was loosely fitted to wall with one screw and u/s a number of the pictures affixed to the wall were UPSIDE-DOWN, and the room carpet was without a relationship with a vacuum cleaner. "Very poor hotel. I was staying a few miles away for half the price and the rooms were very modern, clean and comfortable. As I was working away with a colleague I booked 2 family rooms. The rooms are dated and not up to standard. I had no towels in my room and there was only 1 in the other FAMILY room I booked. "Greeted by a pile of dirty bedding and towels in the room, phoned to tell the owners who did nothing about it. Very very dated and not in a quaint way. Not clean at all. Fortunately it was only a one night stay before we flew out on holiday early the next morning. I would not recommend to anyone. Floorboards are ridiculously creaky, if anyone gets up in the night, everyone is woken up! "
