"The breakfast staff was amazing and helpful! Other than that, we had a multitude of problems arise during our stay. Checking was a major problem and I booked through Expedia and the hotel did not recognize my booking and made me cancel my order and order through them at check in causing me to pass more. The A/C was out in the hallways along with the elevator not working properly during our stay and multiple times we had to take the stairs from the 5th floor! Last but not least the pool...

"The South of Padre Hotel was a great stay for my husband and I! The rooms look a little outdated but I loved how comfortable the bed was, it was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. There was no free breakfast and the beach access was a little ways away (5 minute walk) but overall great stay, it was clean, comfortable and safe. I loved the full kitchen option, it felt like a studio with a living area, kitchen table, kitchen bed, and bathroom."

"Other than a check-in time delay our stay at the Drury Inn and Suites Riverwalk was very nice. The suite was large and well maintained. The location is great for walking to attractions and shopping downtown. The complimentary morning and evening meals were outstanding and attended by friendly and hard working hotel staff. "I will say, the location here is perfect, it’s walking distance from anything you’d need. The parking is perfect with a covered parking garage. The lobby is very nice and newly renovated. & Breakfast wasn’t bad! BUT From Monday to Thursday there was no WiFi. This is only a concern as there is also no cellular signal in the rooms. Their excuse each time was that “storms make the WiFi go out” which is understandable but not 4 days in a row all hours of the day. Next, getting new towels or...

"Great staff, very close to the resort and family activities on property. Our loft accommodated 6, which we had in our party but the loft was only equipped with 4 place settings and towels. The toaster heating elements were sticking out of the toaster. Just might need a refresh of basic items."

"We got there and there was fans in our hotel room drying up either a leak or something. Told staff and checked in 4 hours after we were supposed to. Once we left and came back the room smelled of mildew. The floor was still soaked. I made the front desk aware around 11 and they said they would sent housekeeping who never showed up. Awful experience and staff was lazy and unhelpful"
