"Great location in downtown with imediate access to Riverwalk. The property is a bit older in a regal historical type of way. Stay was great, the included breakfast a little perk, gym needs a bit of an update, and the valet was a little slow at times but is likely like this thru most high-rise hotels in San Antonio."

"Is a very nice hotel but for the price I expected it would have more easily accessible amenities. No checking in early, you have wrist bands that open your door but cannot be used to tell anyone at the pool bar that you are a hotel guest and can charge to your room so remember to take ID to the pool with you, pool water was heated (I hope it was heated!) which was an odd choice for June in TX, and almost all the pool chairs appear to be reserved for the cabanas. "It’s a place to sleep and close to the beach. The room was in a rough shape. Shower faucet was coming apart in the tub and walls had some cracks in it. The actual property itself was nice. Staff was nice as well."

"After 30+ years of staying on the island, this is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. At check-in, we were told the property was nonsmoking. We got our keys and walked around the corner only to be hit in the face with a smell that would be comparable to being at a Willie Nelson concert. The hallway carpet is extremely nasty and the elevator closest to the front desk smelled as though someone had been living in it for months without bathing.
