"First of all the we were looking forward to a relaxing swim after a long drive & found the pool was closed for maintenance but there were folded towels in the chairs. We were there for 3 days & didn't see anyone working on it. We were on 4th floor & had to go to first floor to get ice because the machine on 4th & 3rd floor were out of order. Had notes on the machines to go to first floor. Parking area in the back & at the end of the building lacked lighting, very dark Buffet was good. Enjoyed eating there. Beds were comfortable & room very clean."

"Just as we pictured it from watching the "Fixer Upper" renovation of the hotel! Dinner and breakfast at both the downstairs and rooftop locations was excellent, and the staff both friendly and professional. So glad to see a historical property saved and functioning well. We'll definitely be back some day!"
