"Overall, our hosts Francois and Wynn were very welcoming and helpful with local amenities. The breakfasts that were presented were both nutritious and gourmet delicious. We found our bed a little too firm after the first night, so Wynn cheerfully added a “topper” for comfort. "Room was well appointed not small . Plenty of room. Two very comfortable chairs and table by the window to enjoy the wonderful view of the inner harbour, parliament buildings, empress hotel. At night it was magical. Walkway along the harbour goes for miles."

"Our yearly fishing weekend. Always a pleasure, the new dock is fantastic and restaurant and bar excellent, ( Sasha is a super professional waiter and is always checking, without being intrusive.) Also, had the pool and the hot tub to ourselves for the most part Balcony rooms are great if weather forecast is good. Rooms are large, beds are super comfy. All in all, a great weekend:))( and the fishing was good too:))"

"This is our go to hotel for our frequent trips to Victoria for theatre and concerts at the Royal Theatre. The location is perfectly situated for walking in either direction, so the harbour, dining and the theatre are all easily accessible. The property itself is in fantastic condition, the rooms and other facilities are very well maintained. The staff are without exception warm and welcoming and every request we have made was delivered with the highest level of courtesy. Wonderful hotel!"

"Overall, I did not have the greatest expectations but the stay exceeded what I was expecting. I appreciated the night ambience and the free drink and the events at the bar. For breakfast, I have peanut allergies so I had to be a bit more cautious and cross contamination was a concern, pretty minor. One minor complaint I had was the window did not close. There happened to be a strike so I woke up every morning as a result."
