Motto by Hilton Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square

8/10 Good

"Overall, we had a nice and pleasant stay at Motto by Hilton Rittenhouse Square. The location was great, and the room was comfortable enough for our stay. There were a few minor issues with the room that kept it from being a perfect experience, though. The rooms are quite small, which is understandable given the hotel’s style, but it did make the bed feel a little smaller than I initially expected. We also noticed a few maintenance issues in the bathroom. The flush button would sometimes continue running even after we released it, and the hot water knob was quite difficult to turn. The bathroom also gets very steamy during a hot shower, and water tends to get everywhere. It would be nice if the shower curtain extended farther down toward the floor to help prevent water from splashing out. One of the drawers in our room was also loose and seemed to be broken. That said, these were all relatively minor issues, and they didn't prevent us from having a comfortable and enjoyable stay. With a little attention to some of the maintenance items, the room could be even better. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again when visiting Philadelphia."

"Great location - close to subway and very centrally located and walkable to all the tourist locations. Great room - bed was comfy, shower had great water pressure, nice linens Facility - enjoyed having a nice restaurant and bar available late into the evenings, food was good. Breakfast brunch was very nice but it was pricey tho. Staff - all were super friendly, front desk gave us a great recommendation for a dinner location"

"Property is beautiful it’s plus, the best pool in USA hotels I have ever been Area is nice in the middle of Mountains Hotel stuff nice and helpful but casino security is very rude, they ask young people for id like someone try to do hostile takeover I believe that is turn off for young crowd and most people are there senior citizen and the whole place looks like nursing home outing It’s nice that this is all adults facility But it doesn’t have that holiday atmosphere that usually hotels with casinos have Also rooms don’t have refrigerator only mini bar stocked with expensive liquor and forbidden to use as refrigerator this is very inconvenient most hotels have refrigerator at least small ones to put water during hot summer days"

"The room was nice and clean, no odors or anything to really worry about. The one big issue that we had was the toilet in our bathroom. It simply would not flush, no matter what we did to it. Once we realized no one was going to fix it for us, my girlfriend tried to take off the back of it to see if she could figure it out herself, and we were met with black, murky water. It was genuinely gross and a bit inconvenient to have to walk down to the lobby every time we had to use the restroom, but that was the only issue! Breakfast was okay, definitely plan to arrive early if you want anything good (milk for cereal, syrup for sausage, fresh coffee, etc.). Overall, it was a 7/10 stay!"
