"We was quite pleased with our room at the Manor House and much better value for money. We had afternoon tea in the olive tree and the food was nice but considering it wasn’t busy the service wasn’t very good, it took a while before I was given water I had asked for and the Prosecco I was offered and accepted never arrived. "The modern room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I slept well, not disturbed by any other guests. The biggest win for me was the fantastic value for money which meant I could afford a 5 night stay. Buses into the city were frequent though I could walk to town centre in 15-20 minutes. "

"Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Especially the breakfast Maitre D who went out of his way to be helpful and add tomatoes to my full English breakfast. Not so helpful on overnight resident parking charges at £12 per night. Quite an unpleasant surprise! "
