"Absolutely fantastic, the staff are really lovely and welcoming. The hotel and grounds are first class. Food in the restaurant and bar is very well presented and delicious. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. If you're ever in Horsley this hotel is definitely worth staying in. A short walk from the hotel is the towers, a stately hall with stunning surroundings. The rates for the room is excellent value for money. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be booking another...

"As is often the case with 3-star hotels, I expected the public areas to be freshly renovated and the rooms to feel dated. However, to my pleasant surprise, our family room (253) was simple but nicely refurbished. A few minor downsides: the room was very hot on arrival, though a free-standing A/C had been set up. After mentioning this to reception, they promptly brought a Dyson Cool fan, which worked very well. The bathroom sink was slow to drain, which was a bit inconvenient. The wife in the...
