"There was no power. Despite this, they were checking folks in. At first I thought this might be ok, especially as they said they were working on it. However, no obvious work trucks on property. So, no power, no lights, no AC (88 degrees and humid), likely no hot water in AM, many of the emergency lighting was inoperative, no generators. I could not stay - to their credit, they offered cancellation with reimbursement but because I booked with Expedia, I have to work through them to get money...

"Our room was spacious and well maintained, with the exception of the carpet, which I believe is in the process of being replaced. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless (with a very large tub!) The sheets were crisp and the pillows fluffy. There is no longer food service because they are in the process of replacing it with a restaurant, but there were nice places to eat around the corner."
