"Good, older property overlooking a working bay. Nothing fancy but a particularly nice setting."

"What I did not like was the parking situation. We stayed in a room that was very expensive but parking our car was terrible. We were suppose to have our own parking space but other cars were always parked there. We had to park our car on the road leading up to our room. "BEAUTIFUL VIEWS"

"The staff member who greeted us was very helpful. Our room was such a disappointment! We were looking forward to a nice-relaxing room after a trip from San Francisco. It smelled awful- a mixture of BO/musty. We opened the balcony door to air out the room- someone was smoking pot on their balcony which then added skunk into the mix. The tub was really nice, very hot water to fill. The beds were a tad hard. We are at another hotel which was 1.5 times cheaper and it smells great, soft beds etc."

"This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The property was poorly and, in my opinion, completely misrepresented in its advertising. The photos and description gave the impression of a decent, clean, comfortable hotel, but what we actually encountered was nothing like what was advertised. It was literally a 8x10 square. "This use to be the Pine Bech Inn. WOW, they have remodeled the place, and they did an excellent job. The grounds are beautiful. There is a dog run, fire pit that they light every night, soccer ball court and a BIG hot tub. There is an easy path to the beach that's paved. A little steep, but doable for old folks like me. I recommend staying here. It will get better with age."

"We stayed in the Topaz cabin with a ramp for ADA access. Garden view. A spacious room with comfortable chairs and bed plus a large picture window. We sat in rockers on the private deck and had some wine. Wonderful friendly staff and a common area for beautiful sunset views of the ocean. Close to quaint Mendocino for great restaurants and more. We loved the whole weekend"
