"I would have demoted this hotel to three stars because of highway noise and ongoing renovations — but the staff is excellent, the breakfast is good and the location is fine, an easy walk to many good restaurant options. The price is reasonable for suburban Boston. So, four stars."

"Check in was chaotic. I’m the staff called the room phone at 11:05pm stating they needed me to come back to the front desk for additional information. I asked the manager why they would call and wake me and my young child up past 11 pm for a reservation that had been paid for weeks in advance. They don’t tell you there are additional fees to use the beach / pool. The hallway smelled like cigarettes and many guests had barking dogs. Certainly not worth the price. "Hotel location is main benefit. Six minute walk to Boston Common and Subway. Plenty of places around to eat. Recommend Tatte bakery and Mike ‘n Pattys for breakfast. The rooftop area and bar was not open for our visit so don’t base your visit on that. It’s sounds it’s closed a lot especially if it rains. There’s technically small balcony you can go out to , but very little and has A/C equipment and not really useful. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were not as comfortable as expected...
