"The pictures grossly misrepresent the facility. It is quite old, maintenance is so so, and the pool is poor. There is an outdoor entrance to your room from a long walkway, lile the Holliday Inns in the 50s. The same carpet that is outdoors in the walkway extends straight into your room. It is overpriced and is not consistent with the description on the website at all. If it hadn’t been for spring break, we would’ve stayed anywhere else. "Staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. Tiki Bar was fun and unusual and I love the history behind the entire establishment because it's part of old Florida and that's important. The courtyard is gorgeous you really do think you're in Hawaii. "When we checked in the front desk associate was not warm and welcoming and truly seemed annoyed. To pay tax and a service charge for a beach umbrella is crazy. Stayed at dozens +++ hotels and never had tax and a service charge. Additionally I gave the young man a tip for setting up the umbrella and some how there was also a tip on my bill for the umbrella set up. Hard to believe a $30.00 umbrella was 45.00 plus crazy and not acceptable."

"Everything about our stay was top notch, the rooms were impeccable, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The the staff here is so friendly and professional. "Nice location for the hotel kind of a shady area, were a lot of people smoking weed around and definitely homeless people but despite that it definitely wasn't too bad of a stay. Would definitely return in the future."
