"Stunning hotel with amazing views across the lake, floor-to-ceiling windows in our room which was fantastically 1970s design in very high quality. The onsen overlooking the lake was also glorious. The breakfast. Buffet was fantastic and the staff were brilliant. Hakone’s sightseeing boat goes from next door and is a must."

"Our room was just massive, so huge, with a gorgeous view overlooking a golf course. This is an excellent spot if you want to golf and relax. It is a bit isolated, and it is a bit dated and could likely use a bit of a refresh, but the large room and view was worth it. There is also an onsite onsen (Japanese bath)."

"The staff was amazing. Helpful, welcoming and very attentive and professional. The chef accommodated food allergies and we enjoyed the meals. Ensen was relaxing and wonderful. Thank you for a memorable and enjoyable stay."
