"The main reason I chose this hotel was that it offered a full kitchen to accommodate my dietary needs. I was very surprised to find that the kitchen was so poorly equipped. I have stayed at other hotels in this chain before and have never encountered a kitchen that was so inadequately supplied. "The room itself was excellent — 9/10. The view was amazing, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious and well-designed. However, for the price and for a hotel that markets itself as a 4-star property, many amenities were disappointing. First, the coffee machine in the room was very low quality, more comparable to what you would typically find at a Comfort Inn. "This is the second and the last time I stay at the Palmer. I like the proximity to certain landmarks and the beds were comfy but other than that, the bathroom wasn't clean, there was a lot of hair in the tub, the shower faucet handle was filled with black scum on the inside. There was also a piece undone metal on the bottom of the vanity that scraped my kid's foot. There was no complimentary coffee/tea which added to the disappointment. I was too tired to ask for a different room with 2 kids...
