"I had a wonderful stay at CityHub. Tried both top hub and bottom hub and felt great in both. The hubs are very quite and soundproofing I did not hear any noise what so ever, bathrooms and common areas are friendly and well equipped. Smooth check-in and check-out liked their wristband pass idea. Would totally come back again!"

And the best part is that all shoes, jackets are kept out of hallways and rooms and there are lockers to store bags outside of rooms, keeping areas clean and uncluttered. Excellent kitchen for self-sufficient travellers."

"So this was a fantastic property. It was centrally located to just about everything in Reykjavík. It was more than a hostel, and the private rooms were well worth the price. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip."

"Room was a box with no ventilation. It was new and clean but bare bones w the cheapest fixtures. We needed a code to get in but that was not sent. Fortunately someone was walking in and helped us, but no apology, just murmurings about how Expedia apps often don’t work. If it wasn’t for the person who unexpectedly came by, we never would have gotten in. I called the Expedia number only to be told that I didn’t have any trips. Super frustrating. "

"Beautiful! We were thrown off by the european door locks and needed someone to help us lock the door and someone came very quickly. Rooms are small but nice. Surrounding area is gorgeous. I do wish that they had blackout curtains but that's a me thing. The midnight sun threw us off."

"The pods are a clever way to have inexpensive rooms for short stays. Checking in is easy. You have a locker in which to store your belongings. Your key card is in there along with clean towels. To access the pod, you need to use the key card. Once inside, put the key card in the slot to enable the lights and other electronics. It is fairly large for what it is. There is a fan to help with those that might feel claustrophobic. Because of the size of the space, I never felt claustrophobic."

"Decor of the room is sleek, new design, no aircond, need to open up window for cold air to come in. The problems are in between walls no soundproof. I could hear my upstairs running jumping after 11pm. My next wall tv noise, other side wall talkg. At 1am +, i was awaken by noises chasing northern lights outside my windows."

"I booked a double room but received a twin room. There's insufficient space to hang stuff. With basic blinds that are not blackout curtain, be prepared to get woken up at 5am by the sunlight. If not, by the noisy neighbours which the rooms don't seem to be noiseproof. Noticeable stench of urine in male washroom. The shower lacked place to hang towel. Fortunately there's a study table and chair in the shower room so at least I can put my stuff there. There's simply no hostel vibe unlike other...

"The location is perfect for exploring downtown. The only issue are the doors slam easily. So during the night you can hear other guest comming and going. Other thank that, it was a very nice stay. Thanks David B"

"The perfect hotel for the trip!! We only stayed one night then headed east but the hotel was so nice, had lots of space, very friendly and helpful staff, and was in the perfect location for walking around the city- near all the city’s highlights, food, shopping, etc. Highly recommend!!"
