"An exceptional experience! Our apartment was spacious, clean and modern. The location can’t be beat in Reykjavik. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We stayed for 3 nights and traveled with a rental car to the Golden Circle and the south coast. Definitely a good “home base”. Relatively easy to find parking. A supermarket is a block away- which was helpful given the incredibly high prices at restaurants. Highly recommend!"

"This was our second time staying at this hotel. The staff is pleasant. The bar is functional. It is located outside of the downtown area. So, it takes 10-20 minutes to walk depending on where you want to go in downtown. There are good food options within a 5 minute walk."

"Beautiful hotel in a great location. The mushroom risotto and lemon tart were both excellent. Weather can be unpredictable so plan accordingly. Limited activity options during poor weather conditions. Our glacier trip was canceled due to weather and there was literally nothing else to do besides watch TV in our room. 3 small hot tubs were full, the few small sitting areas were also occupied with other travelers trying to occupy young children, it would have been nice if extra tables could have...

"I only have one recommendation for the hotel. In the lobby, change the ringtone at reception. It is the default tone that immediately breaks the vacation mentality and brings one back to the normal grind of every day life"

"Great location, handy parkade 5 min walk away, so you don't need to worry about zone 2 parking etc. Note: no coffee machine or instant packets in rooms other than Junior suite or Deluxe room, which lists Nespresso machine. But grocery store is next door to buy instant coffee and snacks. Easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants, waterfront etc. Breakfast not included and 3000 kr ISK quoted by staff."
